Fallen Timbers Swim Team is a team with a mission to help children learn and enjoy the sport of swimming. Swimmers need to be a member of FTFRC. We accept swimmers ages 5 to 18 (swimmers should be able to make one lap of the pool in some way. It does not have to be a perfect stroke).
This year it would be nice to see the team register 150 swimmers! Everyone counts! Each swimmer has the opportunity to participate in meets, earn ribbons, participate in fun practices, meet new
friends, receive end of season gift, and most importantly build a love of swimming!
We look forward to ending this winter and having some fun in the sun!
Attention returning FROG swim team families and interested swimmers!
We will be having our registration and suit fitting (new 2 year team suit this year!) on Sunday May 5th from 3-5pm at the CLUBHOUSE.
We are so excited for this summer swim season and are looking forward to our returning swimmers and hopefully many new ones!
Come out to sign up for the team, order your suit and spirit wear and meet all of the coaches.
As always we need lots of volunteers to help our team and season run smoothly so please bring your calendars to registration and be ready to sign up for your work hours!
Sunday May 5th from 3-5pm at the Clubhouse
The deadline to order Swim Team caps is May 10th. Please don't delay ordering your caps. If you should have any questions on sizing please call Wilkinson Sportswear at 419-841-2224. We are happy to help.
Practices run M-F
Please arrive 15 minutes early for warmups.
The Fallen Timbers Frogs are a part of the Ohio Michigan Summer Swim League (OMSSL) along with teams from Green Hills, Lincolnshire, Brookwood, Delta, and Bohn.
This year the OMSSL will not have a season. We may have a virtual dual meet with Lincolnshire. We will have several inter-squad meets and will be doing some fun things to give the kids an opportunity to compete.
We rely on parent volunteers to help with these meets.
We ask that each family complete at least 5 volunteer hours. Please see our parent reps at practices for more information.

PLEASE NOTE: It is important that parents notify their coach when a child will miss practice for several days. It is especially important to let a coach know if a child will miss a meet. This is extremely important when the coaches are putting together meet lineups. If a swimmer misses a meet and a coach is not informed ahead of time the swimmer will be taken off relays for the following meet. Please, don’t let your team down. We need you!!
Please try to make plans on attending as many meets as possible but at least two to be eligible for champs. Also, we need as many swimmers as possible for the Brookwood and Green Hills meets.
Great way for younger siblings to learn to swim or for swimmers to develop strokes and get 1-on-1 attention. See the Swim Team Coach for more information!
Each swim family is responsible to work 10 hours.
As a result of this continued need each family will be required to give a $75.00 deposit at the time of registration, which will be held until 10 work hours have been completed for the Swim Team. (The required 5 FTFRC work hours will be included in these 10 hours worked.)
It is requested that you first consider working meets, however, if this is not possible, there are additional Swim Team work hours available.
All checks will be returned upon verification of work hours completed.
