Don’t forget all the programs that are offered on Saturday mornings. Women’s Clinic from 9:00 – 10:00, Cardio from 10:00 – 11:00 and Men’s Clinic from 11:00 – 12:00. Must sign up for the programs in the clubhouse by Wednesday to guarantee that we have enough people to hold the programs. Date Nights on the tennis courts are the first and third Saturday of the month at 7:00.
We will be having a Pro-Am tourney with the University of Toledo Tennis team in September or August. Stay tuned for more details.
Our
annual mixed doubles compass tournament was held on Saturday, July
19th. Eighteen teams competed in the heat. Sarah Aubry
and John Findlay were the undefeated winners of the East bracket.
Kathy and Reyes Reyes won the West bracket and Amy Graff and Kevin
Birkmayer won the North. Newcomers Cheryl and John Daney won the
Northwest and Marilou Smith and Greg Genzman won the Northeast.
Joni Kirby and Ben Hildebrand won the Southwest and Dawn and Tracey
Sehnert won the Southeast. Amy Snyder and Bob Filiere won the South
bracket.
