Announcement to all Swim Team Families

Our new head coach for the FTFRC 2011 Summer Swim Season has been selected!!

We are happy to announce that Rich Szczepinski (pronounced Sha pin ski) has accepted the offer to be our new head coach. He is currently the Head Coach at Toledo St. Ursula Academy and he is also an Ages Group Coach at the Greater Toledo Aquatic Club. We feel very fortunate to have him coaching our team with his experience and his love of this sport.

Returning this year as one of our assistant coaches is Jonelle Semancik. We are also very fortunate to have Jonelle returning with her experience and her knowledge of our program. We feel that with Rich and Jonelle working together we will be able to offer a very strong coaching staff for our swimmers. An Additional assistant coach will be announced at a later date.

VOLUNTEERS

As you may be aware, it has been extremely difficult in the past to secure enough volunteers to work at our meets.

As a result of this continued need each family will be required to give a $75.00 deposit at the time of registration, which will be held until 10 work hours have been completed for the Swim Team. (The required 5 FTFRC work hours will be included in these 10 hours worked.)

It is requested that you first consider working meets, however, if this is not possible, there are additional Swim Team work hours available.

All checks will be returned upon verification of work hours completed. Forms will be provided to record these hours.
