New Pool Operations Manager
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Andy Pollock and I am the new pool operations manager this year for FTFRC. My wife Katie and I, as well as our two daughters, Mallori and Emmi, have been members of FTFRC for the past two years. I would like to give you all a little bit of background information to help you get to know me. I have been a Physical Education teacher in the Toledo Public School System for the past 10 years. I have worked at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels therefore I have a great deal of experience when it comes to working with school aged kids. My family moved to Waterville 4 years ago so our daughters could be in the Anthony Wayne School district where Katie is a teacher at the high school. I have previous experience when it comes to running a pool as I was the pool manager at Heatherdowns Country Club for 3 years after working as a life guard for 2 years. Although I have many ideas for FTFRC, I would like to hear from you. If you have any thoughts, questions, concerns, or ideas that will assist me as I begin this new position, please feel free to email me at pollock16@bex.net. Your input will help me make sure to continue to provide services that have been successful as well as fix any problem areas. I look forward to hearing from you.

Need to reserve the clubhouse?
Dates are filling fast!! We are now accepting reservations for the clubhouse! Clubhouse rental will now require a $25 deposit check to hold your date and another $25 check for a rental charge. The deposit check will be returned if the clubhouse is properly cleaned after use and nothing is damaged. All deposit checks that members would like returned by mail will need to be submitted with a self addressed, stamped envelope or members may pick their checks up at the pool snack shack after the event. Also, please remember that all events at the clubhouse must be hosted by FTFRC members. The clubhouse may not be rented for a non-member's event with out the FTFRC member in attendance for the entire event. WORK HOURS
Final work day at the pool. Meet Dale and Laurie Wimmer on Saturday, October 8th at 9:00 at the clubhouse. Please bring gardening tools and gloves, if possible. If you have a truck or trailer and can haul branches to the recycling center, that is especially needed! See you on the 8th....rain date (only if necessary) on October 15th.

Tennis Mixers
Feeling the urge for a night out? Grab tour racquet and some friends and go to the “Tastes of the World” Adult Tennis Mixer on Saturday, January 21st from 7 – 11 pm at Laurel Hill. Join the tennis staff for some fun tennis for players of all levels. LH will provide the main dish and beverages. Please bring your favorite “WROLDLY” appetizer to share. Cost is $25/person or $40/couple. Call the Pro Shop at LH to register at 419-381-9661. Call Alisa Smith for details at 419-376-1466.
Once again this year we will not be holding our own mixers but doing them in conjunction with Laurel Hill. Keep the following dates on your calendar open. As more details are received, the website will be updated. You may also contact the front desk at Laurel Hill (419-381-0550). We will receive member pricing for any event at Laurel Hill.
