New this year! ID cards for all members!

We will be issuing membership cards with photos to all members this season.  All members will be required to have their cards when coming to the club.  This will really assist the guards throughout the summer.

ID pick up!  Going on now!
IDs are now at the clubhouse for anyone who had their photo taken through the beginning of June.  We are still taking photos and making IDs for those who have not yet done so – appointments are needed, contact Jen Hildebrand at secretary@ftfrc.com or 419-878-3068.

** For those who are afraid that they might lose their card, etc.  We will keep a file at the guard shack if you would prefer to leave your card (or your children’s cards!) at the club.

We have WiFi!!!!

For those of you with laptops, we have wireless internet access at the club.  There is a password to get into the network – please ask the guards when you are at the club.

Meeting to vote on pool deck renovations & related borrowing required to finance

Proposed Club Improvements: Pool Decking & Engineering Report

THE PROJECT

The club is considering replacing the concrete deck surrounding the swimming pool.

The pool has been inspected and is structurally sound.  The concrete deck has settled in

and uneven joints (a safety hazard) over the years and needs to be replaced.

Water draining around the pool and eroding the supporting foundation is also a concern.

A bid of $120,000 for the renovation has been accepted pending membership approval.

FINANCING

The club operates on an annual budget of approximately $125,000.  Annual dues cover

operating expenses and debt service (for new tennis courts in 2001).  A capital

assessment ($100) and authorization to borrow funds for the pool deck

renovation will be voted on by the membership at a special meeting August 17th.

A nominal 2009 dues increase ($20 or less) is anticipated to fund the additional debt

service for the project.

The project financing (and refinancing of a current loan) is projected as follows:
