Once again we are lucky to have Jane Draheim volunteering to coordinate our Junior Team Tennis Program.

Summer Junior Team Tennis matches are scheduled to begin on Thursday June 12th. Matches will be held Thursdays between 1:00-3:00p.m. at Jermain Park and various clubs and parks. The cost for the season is $15.00 and includes t-shirts and district playoffs. This fee is paid online at www.usta.com under tennislink/USATeamTennis.

In order to participate the child must be a USTA member, before they play their first match.. The cost for membership is $18.00 for a junior membership (for 1 year and includes Smash Magazine)

To buy and/or renew a membership you need to go to USTA. com and follow the directions to either purchase a membership or renew a membership or call 1-800-933-USTA. (Please do not mail invoices since it can take 2 months to process)

Junior Tennis Lessons for 2008

Here is the info for F.T. tennis lessons for Summer 2008.

Each session is 6 classes

Class times:

Beginner: Monday/Wednesday 2:30 – 3:30

Intermediate: Monday/Wednesday 3:30 – 4:30

Peewee: Monday/Wednesday 4:30 – 5:00

High School: Wednesday 1:30 - 3:30 for first session

Prices:

FT Member is $60 per session
Non-FT Member is $75 per session

Dates:

June 9-June 25th (Session I)
June 30th-July 16th (Session II)
July 21st-Aug 6th (Session III)

Sign up is just like last year. Payment MUST be made in advance (check made out to FTFRC) and mailed along with registration form (available on our web page) to:
