Announcing the Herb Wyandt Tennis Scholarship
Herb's memory and love of tennis will continue through a scholarship
fund for Fallen Timbers' members who would like to learn to play tennis.
Herb's generous desire to teach the game of tennis benefited many Fallen
Timbers members in the past and will continue through this fund.
Over $400 in the scholarship fund which will operate as follows:
- The FTFRC Treasurer will handle the fund.
- Donations will continue to be accepted long term.
- FTFRC Board Member in charge of Tennis will plan/organize the event
annually.
- A three-day session will be announced to occur on three consecutive
evenings in earl June before the TAIL season begins.
- A tennis pro will be paid to work with six
individual to teach them the basics of tennis. The six people
chosen to take advantage of this scholarship will have to sign up with
the FT Tennis Director.

Qualifications:
 At least 18 years old.
A member of FTFRC.
Each individual can only participate for one year (even if they are
not able to attend all three lessons)

Long-time member Herb Wyandt is remembered
in a special way through the naming of the clubhouse in his honor.
Be sure to share your pictures of club activities via Herb's favorite
tennis racquet which is now mounted in Wyandt Clubhouse. Our
thanks to Herb's wife, Jan, for such a special gift to the club.
